Feeling nostalgic for the 80’s?

Are you missing Big Hair, VCR’s and scrunchy socks?

If you grew up in the 80’s The Goldbergs on ABC Wednesday at 8:30 is a Must Watch!images-22

At this point I had just assumed that anyone who had ever uttered, “Mikey likes it,” watched images-23Saved By The Bell first run episodes or has a Cabbage Patch Doll packed away in their attic was as completely addicted to this like totally radical 80’s show.

On Halloween I even dressed as Beverly Goldberg, the queen smother  superbly played by Wendi McLendon-Covey. However I  was completely shocked when very few people knew about the show. images-28

If you grew up in the 80’s you need to program your DVR immediately to record The Goldbergs, because unlike the 80’s you can watch any show you want to basically anytime you want to. Sadly, our children will never know the joy of getting up early to watch Saturday morning cartoons since they pretty much watch on demand tv on their Ipads- spoiled brats.

Adam Goldberg, writer and creator, recounts his childhood the way only a child of the
80’s could.  Last week’s episode was one of the funniest by far.

The episode paid homage to iconic 80’s teen movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Anyone whoimages-25 ever wished they could have an epic day off like Ferris will love this episode. Barry tries desperately to recreate Ferris Bueller’s day but of course only Ferris can be Ferris. The result is hysterically funny as Barry fails at every turn. Charlie Sheen even shows up to reprise his role as dirtbag guy in a police station.

Go wait are you waiting for, go program your VCR- oops I mean DVR.
